why partnership firm is not appointed as director.

Because Partnership Firm is not an Individual. Companies Act allows only Individuals to be appointed as director.

Because directors office is an office of trust that is why there should be a person who can be ready to take responsibility of such relationship..thats why any aop or boi or firm and company can not be a director
