16 February 2009 Pls let me know which is a better book,and a easy book to understand for direct taxes,CA final old course.Manoharan or Girish Ahuja,as i have not attended classes and will be doing self study.I am appearing in june 2009.Thanks

17 February 2009 Hello Manisha. If you are doing self study then Girish Ahuja book is best as it is in simple language and easy to understand in self study. But if you want to study from notes then go for Vinod Gupta.
