24 September 2012 Hi,
I am a qualified CA, passed out in May 2011 still struggling for a job. Was planning on doing the Diploma in IFRS course conducted by KPMG. Could anyone please opine on the same.

24 September 2012 Definitely a good course. It is going to become of more and more importance as the IFRS is becoming applicable to Indian Companies.

24 September 2012 You can even do the ICAI course of IFRS. KPMG is also GOOD course.

25 September 2012 Wanted to ask, KPMG conducts the course for 70 hours (once a week). Considering the course starts in Oct and ends in Dec first week is it a good idea to appear for ACCA Diploma in IFRS in December itself?

09 October 2012 really dont know about KPMG, but i had diploma conducted by ICAI, was worst experience no gain in terms of knowledge, unprepared faculties, old study material. limited food, and charges........ 30,000 rs. 7-8 odd classes..
