Can any one explain me what is difference between DIN-3 & DIR-3 and also procedure to get a DIN number for a director of company

Any person intending to apply for DIN shall have to make an application in eForm DIR-3
din-3 was the form used for intimating DIN of Directors to ROCs which is now replaced by form DIR- 3C
