Can any body tell me the rate of depreciation
to be charged on Printer as per IT Act . I am
confused whether it should be treated as part
of Computer Bloc or Block of Plant &
Machinery . plz reply....

printer with computer then charge 60% depreciation .
if attaché with machinery then charge 15%
if attaché with machinery then charge 15%

you can include in computer block and depreciate at 60%.

Printer is treated as Computer Block, so it will b depreciated @60% as per IT Act. Rupesh what other Machinery u will attach with Printer?

it can be attached to billing machines which may or may not constitute as computers.
