19 June 2014 Can any body tell me the rate of depreciation to be charged on Printer as per IT Act . I am confused whether it should be treated as part of Computer Bloc or Block of Plant & Machinery . plz reply....

19 June 2014 printer with computer then charge 60% depreciation .

if attaché with machinery then charge 15%

19 June 2014 It should be treated as part of Computer Block. Rate 60%.

19 June 2014 Printer is treated as Computer Block, so it will b depreciated @60% as per IT Act. Rupesh what other Machinery u will attach with Printer?

19 June 2014 it can be attached to billing machines which may or may not constitute as computers.
