17 March 2017 Dear Experts,
I had purchased the laptops for business purpose on which i had claimed the depreciations also. But i have given some laptops on rent. So pls clarify can i avail the depreciation on rented laptops or not

17 March 2017 Yes, you can avail depreciation on rented laptops. Here , you must show the rent receipts on laptops in your income also.

17 March 2017 Mam, thank you for your valuable inputs,

pls clarify :- is it mandatory to affix the Rs. 1 revenue stamp on rent receipt of laptops since the rent is exceeding 5000,

also clarify if revenue stamp is not affix then what 's the possibility of consequences........
