Is there any compulsion of application of Depreciation rate as per Companies Act for Private companies.............

Depreciation under Companies Act is applicable for ALL companies registered under the Companies Act.
Since a private company is a company registered under the Companies Act, it has to calculate depreciation at the rates prescribed in the Companies Act.

if a company does not apply these rates? than what is the provision. Our Co. Charge dep as per Income Tax Act.
