Delay in furnishing ITR V to CPC

17 January 2011 Dear Friends,
I have e-filed ITR 4 for the A.Y. 2010-11 on 02.08.2010 but sent the ITR V for the same to the CPC Bangalore on 10.12.2010, i.e. after 120 days from e-transmitting the ITR. ITR V receipt status is now showing in the I.Tax site as: ITR not received.
Should I e-file a revised return now and send the ITR V again to CPC? Because on re-transmitting the ITR 4, following message is being shown: You have already filed return for the A.Y.. You may revise it.
Please advise me soon.

17 January 2011 Yes you are correct, now you should e-file the revised return, and send the acknowledgement to CPC within the timelimit.
