I have a qurey reg. ..
X have a agriciltral land used for agricutural purpose but it is within muncipal limits.if this land is sold whether liable for capital gain tax

Since the land is within the municipal limits it is a capital asset and accordingly capital gain shall arise on the transfer of such land.
