Deductions u/s 80c & 80d

What will be the implications in my ITR if LIC Premium & Mediclaim Premium are being paid on my behalf by the Employer. I am working in a Pvt Ltd Co.Can I claim the deductions from the tax liability against above. Will it be considered as Perks.
