10 February 2015 Can a firm deduct stipend for the leave taken in a particular month?

10 February 2015 If the leave is in within the limit as prescribed, then no deduction be made.

10 February 2015 Actually our firm has got this new rule that an article taking even a single leave, their proportionate stipend will be deducted. So is that allowed according to rules?

10 February 2015 rules? Hope you are referring to ICAI rules.

The stipend need not be proportionately deducted if the LEAVE falls within the permissible limit as laid down by ICAI. (one day leave for every 6 days worked)
