Is it required to register as NBFC for a private limited company which is exclusively dealing in shares and securities ?

02 December 2009 Companies engaged in the business of stock-broking/sub-broking are NBFCs but they have been exempted from the requirement of registration under Section 45-IA of the RBI Act, 1934 subject to certain conditions.
