12 April 2014 100% EOU DESPATCH MATERIAL TO DTA UNIT AND THEY CHARGE 4% SAD AND 2% CST ALSO. AND WE HAVE TAKEN CREDIT 4% SAD DEPARTMENT SAYS IF 2% CST CHARGED BY 100% EOU CANNOT AVAIL 4% SAD.

12 April 2014 sad is or a duty levied on import of goods.better you should not charge and get refund on subsequent sale

12 April 2014 Dear Sir,

Thanks for reply, we clarify the situation.

We puchase from 100% EOU Unit and they Charge 4% SAD and 2%CST also and we take Credit(4% SAD) and department says you cannot take crdit (4%SAD) due to EOU unit charge 2% CST.

15 April 2014 SAD is in lieu of sale tax, therefore EOU shouldnot charge VAT/CST.
