Dear Arun,
Policy is a documented statement showing the intention of the management. Credit policy is the policy with regard to its management of credit given to customers for sale of goods or services. It specifies the time period and total credit amount allowed to a customer. It also specifies the recovery period and methodology for the recoveries in case of overdue.
