Cpc banglore tde reflected in 26s but credit not given

04 August 2013 Respected Sir I filled my ITR A.Y.2012-13.I got the 143(1) in the said ITR refund was asked ,as TDS was more and tax was less but CPC over look the 26AS in which TDS is reflecting ,Now a demnad has been sent to me . What should be done to get the refund . Need your advise. Sanjeev Malhotra HUF

04 August 2013 It should not happen. If TDS amount is being reflected in 26AS you should get credit of the said amount. Please check again if the credit of TDS has been given in 143(1) or not.

If not given then file rectification request online.

04 August 2013 Sir It has happened in my case ,the 143(1)shows tax as Rs. 10504/- that is OK but Total TAX credit as per 26AS is 16884/- but CPC Banglore is taking Rs.2886/- & Rs. 13998/- is not taken so they sent a tax challan for Rs. 7618/- insted giving a Refund of Rs. 6380/-. Need Help to resolve the issue

04 August 2013 Then you need to file rectification requestion online selecting the option of TDS credit mismatch.

05 August 2013 yes you need to file rectification request from online itself

your issue is tds credit mismatch

you can confirm it by login to your account and see my account and select tds credit mismatch

select relevant assessment year

you can see tds credit mismatch
