Counter payment by cash

Sir, If I want to submit income tax by cash through counter payment then will the all bank accepted this counter payment? How can I know this information?

You can deposit income tax in cash through challan ITNS-280. Nationalized banks like SBBJ, SBI etc. have counter in the name of 'government receipts'.
