23 June 2011 I have registered the TAN on NSDL for Downloading the Consolidated TDS file. I am provided the consolidated file with ".tds" extention. i want to correct some Pan Numbers into the return Kindly explain the steps to be performed to do the above task.

23 June 2011 extract consolidated tds file using password in this case ur password will be ur orignal return ack. no.then open RPU then select correction return-then import extracted consolidated return-then u can modify/update ur datails in challen/deductee details for example for updating pan of the employee u have to go in 3rd coloum numbered (2) and then update ur pan information
