10 July 2013 Hi, I am eligible to deduct rent TDS. How much should I deduct for office space use? Amount is Rs 16000/- per month. For rent calculation, how many months are being considered? 11 or 12 months? Thanks!

10 July 2013 Consider 12 months. Total rent is (16000 X 12) = 192000
As per section 194I TDS Threshold limit is 180000/- and Rate is 10%.
