conversion from old to new course...it's urgent

02 February 2011 Is there any last date for conversion from old to new course?
In icai bombay my friend being told that there will be some notification within 10 days about availability of some more attempts to old course students(i.e. exten sion of old course attempts) Is it true?
When i called icai bombay they told me it is not true and procedure of conversion(i.e. submission of conversion form and dd of Rs.1100) cancelled.Conversion will be automatic and students will only have to collect study modules.Is it true?
Now i am confused about what to do?
Please help..
