30 September 2012 Im working as a electrical contractor and our yearly business is 15 lakh from job work, can i maintain all the books and necessay to pay return. and kindly tell me other statuary requirements.

30 September 2012 Whether to file return or not depends upon how much profit(income) you make out of this 15 lakh business. If it is taxable (above 2 lakh), it is advisable to file return. There are other reasons to file the return even if it is not compulsory... say for the purpose of BANK, housing loan, passport application and so on....
