As a CA is it better to join a company as a consultant or as an employee?

How it makes difference under income-tax perspective and career perspective?

14 May 2011 Since you are a CA, please refer the provisions of the Income tax act for Income from Business/Profession and Income from Salary, to get the income tax perspective on consultant versus employee.

Regarding career, if you want to make a career in employment, then you should be employed.
