Consequent to name change - effect of share certificates

Company name was changed effective 03-12-2014. Are we required to change the name in all the share certificate issued till 03-12-2014 ?

The practice followed so far was to issue the STICKERS to the share holders and ask them to affix it appropriately on their shre certificates.
