What will be the amount of Power consumption?
as its not mention that Rs.3 is per hour rate or per unit

03 May 2012 10units/hr @Rs.3 means consumption of power per hour is 10units and the unit cost is Rs.3 i.e power consumption cost per hour is 10*Rs.3 = Rs.30. However your question asked for total amount of power consumption i.e 2500*Rs.3 = Rs.7500. For perfect clarification to answer put Note: to your answer "Assumed unit cost of power is Rs.3 because question is not clear regarding it is unit rate or hour rate.

However second view is also possible i.e power consumption cost per hour is Rs.3 in such case Amount of power consumption is 250(2500/10)hrs*Rs.3=Rs.750 and put Note for your assumption.
