Till what time (period)the Assessing officer or Commissioner may condone delay U/S 119(2) for late filling of return? specify the Sec or case law if any...

24 February 2014 well given that 119(2) is specifically to provide relief where the issue has become time-barred under normal provisions, there is time line as such. given that you want to file returns suo-moto, they would be more than happy to condone..

25 February 2014 but sir my case is of refund of 21000. and if return filling date is time barred [more then 139(4)] then under what to do???
