Whether I can register a Private limited company by using the word "INDIA". I want to register a private limited company in the name of Gateway India Private Limited. What are the addition compliance, registration fees and authorised capital requirements for this. I have found a guideline which are relates to 2011, in which it is stated that authorised capital should be 25 lakh but Now some CS practitioners are saying that you can register you company with min. capital of 1 Lakh. Pls suggest to me as soon as possible.

As per the new Name Availability Guidelines, 2011, the applicant can use India, Corporation and Bharat without excess requirement of authorised capital.
You can use such word with the minimum capital if 1 lakh or 5 lakhs as require for private limited company or public limited company.
In your case, you can use India word with the minimum capital of Rs. 1 lakh.
