In which companies committee meetings are necessary ? What are the criteria to fulfill the need of committee meetings ? Here I mean all types of meetings.

There are following committees are Comapnies Act which are based on Limit.
1. Audit Committe (Section 177)
2. Nomiantion and Remuneration Committee (Section 178)
3. CSR Committee (Section 135)
Check the limits of above sections. If your Company falling under limits then your Company need to incorporate the Committee.
Once you will incorporate Committee you need to hold the Board meetings as per Secretarial Standard-1.
