Is it compulsory to submitt original TDS Certificate to income tax department while we filling submission for scrutiny cases or reply to intimation under section 143(1),

Also read circular 6/2008 dt 18/7/2008 and instruction 6/2008 dt 18/6/2008 both of CBDT.
On going through all of these, I feel that originals should be filed if called for by the department.
