28 September 2016 Dear Sir

i have small doubt regarding change status of auditor. i.e our company has appointed Mr. A as statutory auditor for 5 years.Mr .A who is a individual auditor. after second year, he is registered as partnership firm with icai.

what is the procedure for above situation.what should we do for change the status of auditor

i.e is individual auditor resign from the company and file ADT-3? and appoint as auditor firm and file ADT-1?

03 October 2017 Dear sir, year means financial year. and AGM has been conducted 30th September for every year
auditor wants to change his designation from proprietor to partner.
Mr.A who is a individual auditor. after second year, he is registered as partner in partnership firm of XYZ firm.he was signed balance sheet of PQR ltd as individual auditor for one year. and in balance sheet he signed as proprietor. second year he is registered as partner in XYZ partnership firm(dated 20th october). after completion of second year what will he sign in balance sheet.(as proprietor or partner). his status has been changed due to admitted as partner in XYZ firm. now my question is: does he resign as individual auditor from the company or not? will he resign and file ADT-3 as individual auditor? but he wants to continue as auditor in PQR Ltd as auditor. what he does?

03 October 2017 The company can appoint the new auditor in the ensuing AGM.
