Change of name of pvt. ltd. co.

10 April 2012 A Company has changed its name from ABC Pvt. Ltd. to XYZ Pvt. Ltd. 6 months back, along with change in object clause in order to carry out Real Estate activities. Now it wants to reverse the change ie. change back the name to its earlier ABC Pvt. Ltd. with the earlier object clause.
Will the Company get the earlier name,
(i) if it applies by filing 1A/ 1B?
(ii) will it get the name if the Directors apply for new Company incorporation with the name ABC Pvt Ltd.?
Pls. advise..

Yes, you can apply the same procedure for change of name and if the name will be available then u got the same.

There is no need to incorporate other company.

11 April 2012 Yes, if the name is available with MCA, then it will be granted to ur company. Not required to incorporate new company.
For changing MOA, pass a resolution in General Meeting.
