WHEN THERE IS CHANGE OF NAME OF COMAPANY WHAT FORMALITIES ARE REQUIRE TO COMPLETE?
I.E. SUPPOSE ABC CO HAS CHANGE THE NAME TO XYZ CO, & HE GET THE APPROVAL FROM THE CENTRAL GOVT.
THEN HOW THE PROPERTIES THAT IS LAND & BUILDING ,MACHINERY IS GOING TO TRANSFER WITH NEW NAME OF THE COMPANY?
IS STAMP DUTY IS REQUIRE TO PAY?
PLEASE GUILDE FROM THE LAGAL POINT OF VIEW

Dear Friend,
Firstly : If there is only change in name of the Company , keeping the activities same. eg : XYS TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD to be changes to ABC TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD, in this case there is no change in activity , but only change in Name.
This is possible.;
Second : IN case of name change there is no , change in the ownership of the holder of asset .i.e : there is no transfer of asset, so no Stamp duty;
