Plz clarify what are the procedures & compliances to be followed with the Service Tax Deptt. in case of Change in Name of a Pvt. Ltd. The change is only of "&". Rest of the name is same.

You will submit Following documents with Service Tax Authority:

1. Certified Copy of COI
2. Certified Copy of Shareholders Resolution for Change of Name;
3. Certified Copy of New PAN with new name.
4. Covering Letter.
5. Certified copy of old Service Tax Registration Certificate.

Thnx for the input. Further is it mandatory to apply for a fresh PAN as the name is same only "&" was misplaced in the Company's name.
