14 October 2014 Assessee company's name has been changed( Private to Public )on MCA new certificate has been issued but it has not been changed in service tax department,i have to file return now...
what to do i cannot wait for ST2 amendment
Do i file return with changed name but my Reg No. is showing old name.?

or just amend the name online, file the return & do all other formalities after filing, is it Possible...?

15 October 2014 File online ST1 amendment application before submit the service tax e-return and approach to concerned Service Tax auth. for necessary approval and amended certificate in form ST2.
Please be noted that you have to file e-return before due date by using same STC code whether amended certificate received or not during the period.
