22 January 2014 dear sir/madam I wish to call certified copies of my CA Final exam answer sheets. I am willing to opt for the option to call the answer sheets from RTI but the officials at ICAI are saying that they will not provide through RTI and we have to call it by paying 500 rs. per subject. Can you please help me out. I regret for the inconvenience Kind Regards Apoorva

22 January 2014 Dear Apoorva,

ICAI has already provided for the platform for providing the copy of the answer sheet. And please note that any public authority has the right to recover costs of providing information (even where it is under RTI). So it makes sense for applying under the provisions made by ICAI.
