cenvat credit on angles/channels etc. falling under chapter

whether cenvat credit will be available on m.s.angle/channel/plate/square/round/bar etc. used in the fabrication of machinery. If it is used for repair of existing machinery then will the credit be available as input cenavt credit or capital goods credit?

In my view if for the fabrication or repair of CG used for manufacture of excisable goods liable to duty then the credit is available.
Structures used in buildings/ sheds are not eleigible directly but only thru the contractors provding the service.
