Shall we claim cenvat credit on raw materials purchased on credit for manufacturing dutiable goods in the month of purchase? Or whether we should wait till the actual payment for the same has been made as in the case of service tax?

Cenvat credit on inputs is available in full on reciepit opf the materials. Capital goods upto 50% on receipt.
Only input services are eligible on payment of the amount.
