25 March 2009 Dear experts,

We have running the business in Trading Activity( Sales & Purchase) not a Mfg. Always we have provide the interiors & decorators service in industrial sector and received the various input service like, Clearing & Forwarding Agent, GTA, Chartered Accountant, Telephone, Ware Housing, etc. Pls. Tele me, How can take the credit on input service, If input service rendered Partly for Trading Activity & Partly for Taxable Service.

25 March 2009 Please refer the circualar in this regard which states the formula to be adopted for approtioning the input credit, related to trading and taxable servics.

However please note that the following 16 services you can take 100% input credit irrespective of the nature of business

16 Services, For Which Full Credit is available even If it is used for Dutiable & Exempted Services.
