27 February 2013 My client has obtained work contract scheme under service tax I.e. he charging service tax and VAT both in his bills. Can he takes sett off CENVAT credit on purchase bill.

28 February 2013 Yes. New CENVAT Scheme allows you to adjust your cenvat on purchase bills against your service tax payable.
