21 November 2010 1.My finished product was initially exempt
and later on it became dutiable.
so can i take credit of duty paid on capital goods lying in factory.

2.if i sent my capital goods to job worker for the purpose of producing intermediate goods then can i take cenvat credit of duty paid on capital goods.

3.if i sale goods from job worker premises to my related person then how valuation would be made for the purpose of paying duty.

21 November 2010 1.credit for duty paid on capital goods will be allowable.

2. Yes you can take the input credit.

3. valuation is to be made on arm length basis. i.i. as per assessable value.
