15 February 2014 what is the difference between CC and OD

15 February 2014 CC is given against stock and receivables. the limit is subject to availability of stock and receivables on monthly basis. in absence of stock/receivable, the limit is set to ZERO.

whereas overdraft is a facility given by banks against collaterals such as FD, house etc and its limit doesnt change on month to month basis.
