Please state the rate if service tax & vat if applicable on caterer invoices who is provided space in hospital to provide catering services (food) to doctors/ patients and staff in hospital.

both applicable if he give bill of combine of material and service.
service tax under catering services .and sale tax also applicable on gross billing in Haryana VAT 13.125%
if give bill of foods then only sale tax applicable.

Please state the rate if service tax & vat if applicable on caterer invoices who is provided space in hospital to provide catering services (food) to doctors/ patients and staff in hospital. The caterer provides the consolidated bill & tax calculated is 60% VAT 13.125% (considering it material cost) & 40% service tax @ 12.36% (considering if service). Is it ok or are there some changes in service tax

it is registers under factory act

it is contract basis
