Can someone let me know what replies can be made to assessing officer if someone has deposited cash Rs. 10 Lacs in his saving bank account.

24 February 2014 well you need to provide the source of the cash..thats what AO is looking at. If you unable to provide the said details, the AO has right to make additions to your income.
