I have special interest in Technical analysis and market research.
I want to land up as a part of a research teams in media field such as Economic times or in any other high profile firms.
Please guide me as to any special certificate courses that I should pursue or any additional exposure that I need to gain.
I am a CA Final Student with my attempt falling in May, 2011

14 November 2010 Prudvi, from what i understood thru ur message is that u have interest in market/equity research & u wish to acquire specialised knowledge in this field. it may interest u that CFA (www.cfainstitute.org) is a course that may suit ur requirements. it is an internationally recoginsed course that provides enriched knowledge & global exposure. i have already mentioned the intitute's website address above, u can find necessary information regarding registration requirements etc.

17 November 2010 Prudvi, the course that i had mentioned is also commonly known as international CFA, while CFA from ICFAI as mentioned by u is known as Indian CFA. i would advice u to go for international CFA as it has much wider coverage and u have better prospects of getting the jobs u desire.
