THE ASSESSEE SELLS A RURAL AGRICULTURAL LAND, BUT THE ASSESSING OFFICER ASKS THE TEHSILDAR FOR THE DISTANCE OF THE LAND FROM MUNICIPAL AREA. DUE TO SOME CLASHES BETWEEN ASSESSEE AND THE TEHSILDAR THE TEHSILDAR SUBMITS A WRONG REPORT REPORTING THAT THE LAND IS AN URBAN LAND. NOW HOW CAN THE ASSESSEE PROVE THAT THE LAND IS AN RURAL AGRICULTURAL LAND. WHAT PROCEDURES CAN HE FOLLOW.

you can get an independent enquiry done for the actual crow flight distance...there are many independent engineers who can do that for you and submit the same to the AO. Tenshildar's report can be questioned and if you are able malafide intent on his side, action can even be initiated against him.
