One of our member has cancelled his membership, so when should the cancelled entry should be passed, and how service tax entry should be accounted

Hi,
Entry to be passed generally on the date when intimation of cancellation is received or as per any date after intimation recd as per co. policy.
However i suppose ST should have been accounted on accrual basis, receivable to be created to the extent same is due from member.
