Application for Cancellation of GST is in form REG-16.
Is this procedure to be done online.??
i didnt find any online procedure so i submitted reg-16 manually to respective jurisdiction, but they refused to accept,saying it have to be file online and no such online procedure is available.

Wait for enabling such option in GST portal. The software is under development and testing.

So what should we do till cancellation process is not made available online.??
Actually assessee had collected gst for the month july and august and also filed the return for same.
But due to dispute in partnership they have decided to closure of business within next 3-4 months and are sure that turnover will not cross 20lacs. So they want to cancel GSTN. Should they stop collecting GST from october and stop filing return. Will there be any default in compliance by doing so.?

Shortly the option will be enabled till then collect GST and file the return.
