Can we apply for 80g & 12aa certificate simultaneously ??

can we apply for registration u/s. 80G & 12AA simultaneously.

i equired in IT dept and i came to know that we can apply for both simultaneously.

but i read that for 80G registration certification u/s. 12AA should be submitted.

anyone who has practically done this please let me know how to do it ?

02 December 2011 You cannot apply 80G nd 12 AA simultaneously. Even if you apply, IT people will give 12AA exemption first and ask you to re submit application for 80G separately attaching 12AA certificate. I have done couple of such registrations at Hyderabad.
