Can one entity have multiple pan's

22 November 2012 I would like to know whether a trust can have multiple PAN??
Say if the trust is running an educational institution , than can the primary section have different PAN than PAN of Secondary Section or junior College...

23 November 2012 every ASSESSEE can have PAN. You need to check these entities on the basis of the definition of ASSESSEE.
