Can manufacture take registration of excise as a trader

good evening to all expert.we are registered in excise as a manufacturer. if we want to sell some material as a trader . then in this case will I take another registration in excise as a trader. while we are registered in excise as a manufacturer thanks.

You may intimate the excise department regarding the same in detail.

Also u will have to amend the registration if those commodities are not included in the current registration.
