Can i file income tax return a.y -2012-13 without penelty if tax is payble.

13 June 2013 You can file return as usual..if AO directs you to pay any penalty then only it is mandatory to pay penalty not requred to pay any at the time of filing

Yes.as per sec.271F Ao may direct you to pay penalty Rs.5000.and AO may condone delay and condones penalty if you can provide valid reason to the satisfaction of AO.

As per Sec.271F if you are failed to submit return with in end of relevant assessment year AO may direct you to pay penalty of Rs.5000.As it is already expires,.i.e, 31.03.2013.
