Can i continue my degree?

02 March 2013 Dear sir,
present i am in 7th month of my article ship and in the same way i am pursuing degree 2nd year. When i am filling 102 i didn't mention about my degree because degree collage principle not accepted to sigh on respective forms. So i didn't disclose about my degree.
Some of my friends told that if u not send details about degree they will cancel your Article ship.
Plz help me to get out of these problem.

02 March 2013 If you pursuing degree as a regular course and such attending classing of degree will crash your articleship timings then ICAI will not permit you to do degree and articleship at a time. In case if you pursuing degree as a distance education mode course(i.e under open university) then there is no need to attend classes so need not to required your college principle's signature so send form 112. In case if you pursuing regular degree then immediately convert to distance education mode from the 2nd year of degree onwards and then send form 112.
So please confirm me is you going regular degree or distance mode for any further clarification and suggestions required.

04 March 2013 Actually i am doing regular degree and the last date for conversion of regular to distance is expired. But registration is completed and i received letters from ICAI for respective registration.
Now what can i do? is there only way to cancel my degree?

04 March 2013 Don't worry you need to cancel your degree you approached late i.e after 7 months from starting of your articleship thus completion of your degree will go late by 6 months. My suggestion is now convert to distance education mode then your eligibility to 2nd year degree exams is on November 2014(instead of may 2013) as well as you final attempt will be on November 2015(instead of may 2015). Before that you write a request letter to ICAI by specifying i completed my regular degree before starting of articleship and after that i discontinued my degree now i want to complete my 2nd and final year of degree through distance education mode please permit me to convert into distance education mode to complete my degree along with this letter enclose 1st year marks list and form 112.
